Sealplate
- an injection molded Polypropylene [PP] manhole
riser liner incorporating a 11/4“ [32mm] horizontal
return at both top and bottom regardless of
length.
Designed to protect against the infl uence of
corrosion, Sealplate is the
ultimate standard of quality for manhole riser
protection.
Sealplate -
available in 6 inch increments to any depth
specified. Manufactured for manhole diameters
4 ft. thru 12 ft., nominal thickness 0.3“ [8mm].
Sealplate - segment joints
are factory welded inside and out. No butyl,
sealants or bolts required between segments.
Sealplate - permits design
and construction flexibility. With a robust
thickness damage free fi eld coring and welding
for added connections is entirely possible.
Stacking segments minimize freight costs to
the concrete plant or precaster.

Eliminating
hydrogen sulfide entry into the concrete
joint is assured by the uniform compression
of butyl sealant as shown in detail A.
Detail B requires the mating surfaces
to be field welded.

GU MANHOLE BASE LINER
The

Efficient manhole base
production is best accomplished with GU MANHOLE
BASE LINERS. The GU BASE LINER
is internationally recognized and evaluated as a state-of-the-art
product.
The GU MANHOLE BASE is a molded,
wastewater resistant plastic liner of reinforced polymer
or Polypropylene [PP] construction with a thickness
range from .12“-.20“ [3-5mm] mechanically
bonded with the concrete base structure during the
precast concrete process.
While standard GU BASE LINER production
features a three inch vertical sidewall returning
into the circumference of the manhole base, extensions
of SEALPLATE
may be integrally molded with
the base liner to increase the sidewall depth.

| With SEALPLATE and
GU boot hubs welded on at pipe locations,
the lined manhole base is simplifi ed.
This arrangement features outstanding
corrosion protection for the concrete
base and connector holes. It also permits
maximum pipe grade and alignment defl
ection. Concrete channels may be formed
in the base at the precast plant or in
the fi eld. Additional Sealplate sections
may be added for any depth of structure. |

Top-off a lined manhole

Use the GU Convertible Collar
with both to protect grade rings and eliminate
